I'm a Library Media Specialist at Birch Grove Elementary School for the Arts. I am leaving on a Fulbright Memorial Teacher Fund study tour of Japan in October 2008. This blog is one of the ways that I'll be sharing this experience with students, colleagues, family and friends. I'm so glad you're joining me!

Do they kill the dears and monkeys that are running around in Japan? Yes I have seen the entry to the shrine. Is that good luck, too? Why aren't there maps flat? Do they get sick from washing their mouths and hands in that water and what were those sticks that were on the edge.
